Michael Medina can’t remember when he wasn’t drawing something.

Anything. Everything.

Art has been a constant in the sometimes turbulent life of the 26 year old Colorado native whose skills with a pencil and brush caught the attention of Front Range residents who encouraged, insisted, that he share his work with others. Taken under the wing of veteran artist and teacher Bettie Philips Wilson she declares him to be as naturally endowed with an artistic eye and inner spirit as anyone with whom she has ever worked.

Retired Denver Post Editor-in-Chief Chuck Green, Pueblo West artist Ed Posa, and others took the initiative in introducing Mike and his work to the community.

The rest, as they say, is history, history in the making for the personable young man whose work was first seen by the community in the Fall of 2008. His friends predict that his history will be a long and productive one. wjw
